Oculoplastic surgeon in Monterrey

Dr. Andrés Lozano is an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon in Monterrey, Nuevo León, specializing in eyelid, orbit, and lacrimal system surgery. He completed his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. During his social service at the Esquipulas Clinic in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, he provided medical care to indigenous communities. It was during this time that he participated in the "Light Up Your World" ophthalmological campaign, held annually in that area, and it was then that he decided ophthalmology was his chosen path.

After this experience, he relocated to Israel, to the prestigious Hadassah Hospital of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, to pursue his specialization in Ophthalmology. Following his residency, he remained at the same institution for advanced training in Oculoplastic Surgery, Orbit, Eyelids, and the Lacrimal System.

Dr. Lozano is certified by the CMO (Mexican Council of Ophthalmology), is a member of the ESOPRS (European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), the SMO (Mexican Society of Ophthalmology) and the CONL (College of Ophthalmologists of Nuevo León).
