Ophthalmology
During your visit, your visual acuity, refraction, and intraocular pressure will be checked and later your eyes will be examined in detail to find or rule out any ocular condition.
If imaging studies are required, they can be performed right here in our facilities.
At the end of the consultation you will be given a diagnosis and treatment plan.

Oculoplastics
The proper oculoplastic evaluation involves careful examination of the external appearance of the eyes. The symmetry, the movement of the eyelids, their position, laxity or tautness, and the skin are analyzed.
Skin lesions, such as elevations, pigmentary changes, or tumors, are analized.
At the end of the visit, a diagnosis is given and a treatment is proposed. This can be medical or surgical.
Injections
They are injected into the muscles of the forehead, between the eyebrows, and periocular region. It helps us to relax the muscles where it was applied and thus reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, resulting in a fresher, youthful and rested appearance.

Surgery
Blepharoplasty offers some of the most dramatic results in a person's appearance. We remove excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids, and in the lower eyelids we can eliminate bags and dark circles.
We also treat patients with ptosis (droopy eyelid). This can be a congenital problem, or more commonly due to aging. In these cases we perform a surgery to return the eyelid to its normal position.
One of the most frequent procedures done is chalazion surgery. It is caused by the obstruction of one or more Meibomian glands and the formation of a cyst due to the accumulation of its content inside.
Eyelid lesions are very common, from small warts or nevi, to tumors, or wounds.
Tear duct problems can occur from birth or at any age. They can be due to obstruction, inflammation or trauma.
These are just some examples of what oculoplastics is all about.
We will gladly evaluate your case.
